Day 01 :

Arusha – Transfer to Tarangire National Park | Afternoon Game Drive

Your 3-Day Tarangire Wildlife Experience begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha (around 8:00 AM). Enjoy a scenic 2 to 2.5-hour drive through the Great Rift Valley, with views of the landscapes that define northern Tanzania. Arrive at Tarangire National Park by late morning and begin your first game drive. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. Stop for a picnic lunch inside the park surrounded by the wilderness. Continue game driving in the afternoon, exploring different areas of the park and searching for predators. As the sun sets over the baobab-studded plains, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Overnight at your Tarangire lodge or in Karatu. Meals: Lunch & Dinner.

Day 02 :

Full Day in Tarangire – Game Drives & Wildlife Encounters

Rise early for a sunrise game drive when wildlife is most active. Tarangire is home to the densest elephant population in Tanzania, with herds often numbering in the hundreds. The park's landscape is dominated by ancient baobab trees, some over 1,000 years old, which serve as natural landmarks and shelter for wildlife. Spend the full day exploring the park, with a picnic lunch at a scenic spot. Search for predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. For those seeking a different perspective, a night game drive can be arranged from some lodges, allowing sightings of leopards, bush babies, honey badgers, and other nocturnal creatures. Day 03 :

Morning Game Drive – Return to Arusha

Enjoy a final early morning game drive, catching last glimpses of elephants, baobabs, and the park's abundant wildlife as the sun rises over the savannah. After breakfast, check out and begin the scenic journey back to Arusha, arriving in the early afternoon. You'll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
