Arrival & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Begin your safari with pickup from Kigali, Entebbe or Kampala.

From Kigali, enjoy a scenic drive through rolling hills and countryside before crossing into Uganda and heading toward the misty slopes of Bwindi. From Entebbe/Kampala, the journey is longer but equally rewarding with views of rural villages and highland landscapes.

Arrive at your forest lodge in the late afternoon. Relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for your habituation experience.

Day 02 :

Gorilla Habituation Experience – Deep Encounter

After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by rangers from the Uganda Wildlife Authority.

Today’s adventure goes deeper than traditional gorilla trekking. The gorilla habituation experience allows you to spend up to four hours with a semi-habituated gorilla family. Accompanied by researchers and trackers, you’ll learn about:
