Day 01 :

Kigali – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 02 :

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

This is the day you've been waiting for. After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters (typically around 7:00 AM) for registration and a pre-trek briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You'll learn the gorilla trekking rules and etiquette, and be assigned to a specific habituated gorilla family based on your fitness level and group size. Then, enter the ancient, mist-shrouded rainforest with expert trackers and rangers. The trek can take anywhere from 1 to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas nested the previous night. Once located, you'll spend one magical hour observing the gorilla family in their natural habitat, watching the silverback lead his group, mothers nurse their infants, and juveniles play. Day 03 :

Bwindi – Return to Kigali

After a final breakfast, check out and begin your scenic return journey to Kigali. The drive takes you back through Uganda's countryside and across the border into Rwanda, with views of rolling hills and local villages along the way. Arrive in Kigali in the afternoon (typically between 2:00-4:00 PM) and be dropped off at your hotel or Kigali International Airport.
