Your island adventure begins with a warm welcome at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport. Your driver-guide transfers you to your Stone Town hotel. After check-in, embark on a guided walking tour of Stone Town, Zanzibar's UNESCO-listed historic quarter. Explore the labyrinthine alleys, visit the Old Fort, the House of Wonders, the Sultan's Palace, and the bustling Darajani Market. Learn about Zanzibar's rich history as a spice- and slave-trading hub. In the evening, enjoy a sunset drink at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the Indian Ocean. Overnight at your Stone Town hotel. Meals: Lunch & Dinner.
After breakfast, transfer to the waterfront for a boat trip to Prison Island (Changuu Island). The island was once used as a quarantine station for slaves and later as a prison, though no prisoners were ever kept here. Today, it's home to a sanctuary of giant Aldabra tortoises, some over 100 years old, brought from the Seychelles in the late 19th century. Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters around the island. Return to Stone Town for lunch. In the afternoon, transfer to Jambiani Beach on the east coast, one of Zanzibar's most beautiful stretches of white sand.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast with your toes in the sand. The morning is yours to explore Jambiani Beach, swim in the turquoise waters, relax on the white sands, or take a stroll along the shore. Depending on your departure time, you may choose optional activities such as a village walk or a dhow sailing experience (at an extra cost). After check-out, transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your departure flight, carrying with you the unforgettable memories of your island escape. Meal Plan: Breakfast.

Zanzibar is a fantastic destination throughout the year, thanks to its warm tropical climate and beautiful coastline. The most popular months to visit are from June to October, when the weather is cooler and drier, making it perfect for beach holidays, snorkeling, diving, and sightseeing. December to February is another excellent period, offering warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine. While the rainy seasons can bring occasional showers, they also provide lush scenery, fewer crowds, and attractive travel deals for visitors seeking a quieter experience.
Visa requirements depend on your nationality because Zanzibar is part of Tanzania. Many travelers can obtain a visa on arrival or apply online before departure, while others may be exempt from visa requirements. We recommend checking the latest immigration regulations for your country well before your travel date. Our team is also happy to provide general guidance and help direct you to the official resources so you can prepare all the necessary travel documents before your journey.
We recommend packing lightweight and breathable clothing suitable for warm tropical weather, comfortable walking shoes or sandals, swimwear, sunglasses, sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and insect repellent. A reusable water bottle, a small day backpack, and a light rain jacket can also be useful depending on the season. If you plan to visit cultural or religious sites, it is advisable to carry modest clothing that covers your shoulders and knees out of respect for local customs. Don't forget your passport, travel insurance documents, camera, chargers, and any personal medications you may need during your stay.
