For travelers seeking a faster option, domestic flights are available to Kisoro or Kihihi airstrips near the park.

Bwindi has four main trekking sectors: Rushaga, Nkuringo, Ruhija, and Buhoma. Your trekking location depends on gorilla permit availability. Only 8 visitors are allowed to visit a gorilla family per day, and the minimum age for gorilla trekking in Uganda is 15 years.
