Day 01 :

Nairobi – Amboseli National Park | Afternoon Game Drive

Your Amboseli & Tsavo safari begins with a morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or airport. After a safari briefing, enjoy a scenic 4-5 hour drive south through Maasai country to Amboseli National Park. Arrive at AA Lodge Amboseli in time for lunch. After a short rest, head out for your first afternoon game drive across Amboseli's iconic plains. Watch as herds of elephants roam freely against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro while keeping an eye out for giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and predators. As the sun sets, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Meals: Lunch & Dinner.

Day 02 :

Full Day in Amboseli – Elephants, Big Cats & Observation Hill

Rise early for a sunrise game drive when wildlife is most active and the views of Mount Kilimanjaro are at their best before clouds build up over the summit. Amboseli is one of the best places in Africa to get close to free-range elephants, some of the largest tuskers in the world. After breakfast, set out for another extended game drive, exploring different areas of the park. Amboseli's open plains and permanent swamps attract large elephant herds, often numbering up to a hundred individuals. Look out for lions, cheetahs, buffalo, and the park's 400+ bird species. In the afternoon, visit Observation Hill for panoramic views over the park. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 03 :

Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park | Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast, depart for Tsavo West National Park, approximately a 3-4 hour drive from Amboseli. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world, with attractions including elephants, rhinos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, and buffaloes. The park's volcanic landscape features old lava flows, including the Shetani Lava Flow, creating a surreal, otherworldly feeling. Arrive at Kilanguni Serena Safari Lodge in time for lunch. After resting, proceed with an afternoon game drive, exploring the park's diverse landscapes and wildlife. Key sights include the Mzima Springs, a lush oasis fed by underground streams where you can spot hippos and crocodiles from an underwater viewing chamber. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 04 :

Tsavo West – Morning Game Drive – Return to Nairobi

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Tsavo West, catching last glimpses of the park's incredible wildlife and volcanic landscapes. Visit the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, a fenced-off area protecting endangered black rhinos. Check out from the lodge and begin the return journey to Nairobi, with a stop for lunch along the way. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport. Meal Plan: Breakfast.
