Day 01 :

Day 02 :

Kigali – Nyamata & Ntarama Genocide Memorials

After breakfast, drive approximately 35 kilometers south to the Bugesera region for a deeply moving visit to the Nyamata and Ntarama Genocide Memorials. Both sites are former Catholic churches where thousands of Tutsi sought refuge during the genocide . At Nyamata Church, you'll see the iron door that was locked with a padlock to protect those inside, along with the remains of victims' clothing and artifacts left behind . The site is the final resting place for over 50,000 victims . Continue to the Ntarama Church, where 5,000 people were massacred on August 15, 1994 . Human remains, clothing, and personal items are preserved here as powerful reminders of the atrocities.
